About the event
The CookOUT, is a new queer African collective, formed with the purpose of celebrating and uplifting black British LGBTQ+ culture through events, community building & enjoyment!
Our first event is in traditional hall party style, bringing back the signature event we enjoyed growing up but made queer, inclusive and popping!
Join us for our first event on Saturday the 1st March 2025 at Woodpecker Community Centre, Deptford SE14 6EU from 8pm.
Dress to impress! The theme is African Eleganza, so we invite you to come dressed in your finest Kente, Aso Ebi, Bou Bou, Shúkà or whatever drip you feel comfortable in.
