About the event

Dr. Lee Campbell is an artist, curator of the queer film project Homo Humour, and co-curator of POW! Play on Words with Colin B. Osborn. A Senior Lecturer at University of the Arts London, he has performed worldwide since 2000, including at the National Poetry Library, Brighton Fringe, and Prague Biennale. His debut poetry collection See Me: An (Almost) Autobiography (London Poetry Books, 2024) follows a shortlisted chapbook, Queering the Landscape (2024). His poetry appears in Ink, Sweat and Tears, London Grip, and more. His experimental poetry films have been widely screened, including at Southbank Centre’s Out-Spoken Poetry Prize (2023).

Join us every Sunday afternoon upstairs at The Island Queen Pub (87 Noel Rd, Islington, London N1 8HD) for a salon-style gathering of creatives, thinkers, and performers.

Expect an intimate, welcoming space filled with live music, comedy, poetry, storytelling, art, turbo-charged discussions, and the occasional spontaneous group singalong karaoke session.
